What Is ‘Good Day’ About?

'Good Day' is a unique music project show where G-Dragon takes on the role of producer, collaborating with notable figures from various industries to create a song that defines the year.

The second episode, aired on February 23, featured G-Dragon meeting fellow 1988-born actors Kim Soo-hyun, Lee Soo-hyuk, Yim Si-wan, Hwang Kwang-hee, and Jung Hae-in for the first time. Drawing inspiration from SBS Plus’s popular dating show 'I Am Solo', the cast spent time getting to know each other in a similar format.

Defconn, the actual MC of 'I Am Solo', added fun to the mix by giving the “88 stars” their own nicknames with producer Code Kunst.

Si-wan was dubbed "Young-ja" for his innocent looks and easygoing personality. Lee Soo-hyuk became "Young-ho" thanks to his striking physique. G-Dragon got "Young-chul", fitting his decisive, go-getter attitude. Kim Soo-hyun was named "Young-soo" for his natural ability to lead conversations and set the mood. Hwang Kwang-hee, the one most likely to suffer from a one-sided crush, was hilariously labeled "Kwang-soo." Lastly, Jung Hae-in received the nickname "Ok-soon," with Defconn joking, "He’s just too pretty!"

Towards the end of the episode, the "88 friends" moved to a new location, sharing everyday stories, leaving viewers eager for the next installment.

Good Day airs every Sunday at 9:10 PM (KST) on MBC.
