INFINITE’s Kim Sung-kyu Shares Heartbreaking News with Fans Today

Kim Sung-kyu, a member of INFINITE and a solo artist, is grieving the loss of his older sister.

On February 22, his agency Billions released an official statement, saying, “We regret to share heartbreaking news. Kim Sung-kyu’s older sister passed away this morning after battling an illness.”

In accordance with the family's wishes, the funeral will be held privately, attended only by close relatives and friends. Billions further stated, “We ask for your warm condolences and consideration so that Kim Sung-kyu and his family can mourn in peace.”

Due to this tragic event, Kim Sung-kyu has withdrawn from INFINITE’s Limited Edition 15th-anniversary tour stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which was scheduled for today.

Meanwhile, INFINITE is set to release their 8th mini-album, Like INFINITE, on March 6.
