February Pick: Top Male & Female Idols Crowned in K-Pop Artist Category!

ENHYPEN’s Sunoo and aespa’s Karina have been crowned as the top K-pop artists in UPICK’s ‘February Pick’ fan vote.

On February 18, global fandom platform UPICK announced the final results of its ‘February Monthly Pick’ poll, where Sunoo, Karina, AHOF’s JL, and BABYMONSTER’s Pharita each secured first place in their respective categories.

K-pop Stars Leading the Vote

In the ‘K-pop Artist’ category, Sunoo and Karina took the top spots, while in the ‘Rookie Artist’ category, JL (AHOF) and Pharita (BABYMONSTER) emerged as the winners. As a reward, the first-place artists in each category will be featured on a large-scale billboard advertisement at COEX Media Tower in Seoul.

Sunoo’s victory was particularly significant, as he blocked BTS’s Jimin from reclaiming the No.1 spot, proving the strength of ENHYPEN’s ever-growing fandom. The group recently wrapped up a successful dome tour in three major Japanese cities, marking a milestone as one of the fastest K-pop boy groups to achieve such a feat.

Meanwhile, Karina and aespa recently completed the North and South American leg of their second world tour, receiving an overwhelming response from global fans.

Rookies Making Their Mark

JL, a rising star in K-pop, has already showcased the full package—vocals, dance, personality, and visuals. He secured first place in the ‘Universe League’ final, earning a spot in AHOF’s debut lineup. Even before his official debut, he has already topped the ‘Rookie Artist’ category, reflecting strong fan support.

Pharita and BABYMONSTER continue to enjoy soaring global popularity following the release of their first full-length album ‘DRIP’ in November. The group is set to embark on their first-ever world tour, ‘2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR’, covering 14 cities worldwide.

Following the ‘February Pick’ results, UPICK will soon open voting for the ‘Best Pick of the Month’, where fans can once again vote for their favorite male and female artists among the top 5 winners in each category.
