The highly anticipated SBS drama 'Buried Hearts', which has been drawing attention for its star-studded cast, has announced an exciting pre-release event.

Before its official premiere, the drama will air a special broadcast titled ‘Buried Hearts: The Preview’ to give audiences an exclusive first look.

Unlike typical pre-release specials that focus on summarizing the storyline, 'Buried Hearts: The Preview' will take a unique approach, highlighting key character relationships, conflicts, and intense moments from the drama. The special broadcast will feature lead actors Park Hyung-sik, Huh Joon-ho, Lee Hae-young, and Hong Hwa-yeon, including behind-the-scenes footage and interviews that showcase a more candid and lighthearted side of the cast.

'Buried Hearts' follows Seo Dong-joo (played by Park Hyung-sik), a skilled hacker who steals two trillion won (approx. $1.39 billion) in political slush funds. After being targeted by an absolute force of evil, he puts everything on the line to take down the corrupt world that tried to destroy him.

On February 12, SBS’s official YouTube channel uploaded a teaser video titled “Park Hyung-sik X Huh Joon-ho—The Man Who Died with 2 Trillion Won in His Head Has Come Back to Life! Buried Hearts Synopsis Reading”.

The clip opens with Park Hyung-sik and Huh Joon-ho entering a dimly lit studio with nothing but two chairs. Facing opposite directions, the actors take turns reading lines from the drama’s condensed synopsis, showcasing their compelling delivery and deepening the sense of mystery.

One particularly gripping moment comes when Huh Joon-ho shouts, “There’s two trillion won in your head!”, instantly amplifying the tension.

A Dark and Intense Rivalry Takes Shape

On February 7, SBS also released a third teaser trailer, further raising anticipation. The teaser opens with Park Hyung-sik’s chilling narration, “If you want to survive, you need to leave Daesan.” As the scene unfolds, the cold, calculated expressions of Park Hyung-sik, Lee Hae-young, and Huh Joon-ho set the stage for an intense psychological battle.

The main conflict comes to life in a tense showdown between Park Hyung-sik and Huh Joon-ho. When Huh’s character snarls, “You want to kill him that badly, don’t you?”, Park Hyung-sik fires back with a determined yet controlled response, “Get a grip, sir.”, creating a powerful standoff between the two characters.

The teaser also offers glimpses of mysterious relationships and hidden agendas. Park Hyung-sik and Hong Hwa-yeon’s complicated connection stands out, as he pushes her away while she pleads, “I wanted to return to you as soon as I could.” Their dialogue hints at a past filled with longing and unresolved emotions.
