The highly anticipated variety show 'Good Day', created by K-pop icon G-Dragon and legendary producer Kim Tae-ho, held its production press conference online on February 13. The event featured Kim Tae-ho, G-Dragon, Jung Hyung-don, Defconn, and Code Kunst, who shared insights about the upcoming show.

G-Dragon, known as the "celebrity of celebrities," spoke about how Good Day allowed him to collaborate with unexpected figures. "I never thought I’d have the chance to work with these people if not for this project," he said. "These were things I had only imagined, but thankfully, we all clicked, and filming with these friends was an absolute joy."

Reflecting on the show's title, G-Dragon added, "There’s a saying that even singers follow the theme of their song titles. Maybe it’s because of Good Day, but every time we met, it really felt like a good day."

A Long-Awaited Reunion with 'Infinite Challenge' Members

One of the most anticipated aspects of Good Day is G-Dragon’s long-awaited reunion with Jung Hyung-don and Defconn, marking their first collaboration in 11 years since Infinite Challenge. Addressing this special moment, G-Dragon shared, "It’s been a long time in terms of years, but it didn’t feel like we were apart at all. I simply enjoyed spending time with my Big Brothers."

He fondly recalled their time together, saying, "I think they’ll only air the parts where I’m laughing. I didn’t even realize I could laugh that much—it felt like the entire shoot was just us laughing." He added, "I missed them so much, and getting to see them again was amazing."

Jung Hyung-don shared his thoughts on reuniting with G-Dragon after more than a decade, saying, "Meeting Ji-yong (G-Dragon) is always a joyful and happy experience, but since so many people remember our past moments together—and with those clips constantly resurfacing on YouTube and other platforms—I can’t help but wonder how they will perceive us now after all this time."

In response, G-Dragon affectionately reassured him, saying, "As long as we enjoy it, that’s all that matters." Jung Hyung-don, while initially teasing, "You’re only saying that because the cameras are rolling," admitted, "Honestly, I feel a mix of excitement, nervousness, and a bit of worry about how everything will come across."

Defconn also reflected on the weight of their reunion, remarking, "Since viewers have such strong memories of the legendary moments from Infinite Challenge, there’s definitely an expectation to live up to." He added, "I wasn’t sure how this would turn out after so long. People change, circumstances change, and we’ve all grown in different ways. The challenge was figuring out how to bring something fresh while embracing those changes."

Despite these concerns, he reassured fans that their chemistry remains as strong as ever, saying, "The three of us together? No matter what, we end up being funny. It’s been 11 years, but seeing each other again felt nostalgic, yet refreshing in its own way."

An Exciting Lineup of Star-Studded Friends

Good Day will also feature appearances from some of the top celebrities born in 1988, the same year as G-Dragon. The star-studded "88-line" includes Kim Soo-hyun, Jung Hae-in, Im Si-wan, Lee Soo-hyuk, Kwanghee, and Kim Go-eun. Fans are already buzzing with excitement over the dynamic chemistry this group will bring to the show.
