New Reality Program Exposes Foreigners’ Shocking Crimes in Korea… Footage Released of Major Organization Bust

Body Cam reveals a shocking crime scene in vivid detail.

Premiering at 8:50 PM on February 13, JTBC’s new first-person action reality show Body Cam (directed by Park Dong-il and Jo Chi-ho) offers an immersive look into the real-life experiences of uniformed heroes protecting Korea through raw body camera footage.

The show kicks off with a large-scale foreign crime syndicate bust in Mokpo. In the footage, dozens of maritime special forces and investigators can be seen storming the crime scene in a high-stakes operation. After three months of undercover surveillance, authorities confirmed the organization’s existence, leading to a dramatic raid that successfully dismantled the entire network.

Sergeant Kim Kyung-hoon, who led the operation and arrested 34 criminals that day, recalled, “The most beautiful sound in the world is the click of handcuffs.” Meanwhile, his fellow officer Moon Jong-hoon declared, “Wait for me, I’m coming,” showcasing his determination for future missions.

The episode also revisits the harrowing story behind a massive ship explosion that rocked Ulsan. In 2019, a peaceful day at sea was shattered by a deafening blast, igniting a fire on a large vessel carrying multiple petrochemical tanks. With the looming threat of secondary explosions, maritime police risked their lives in a tense rescue mission, gripping viewers with heart-pounding action.

Firefighters, who battled through the night to prevent further explosions, are also highlighted. Upon seeing the footage, actress Song Ji-hyo was moved to tears, while commentator Bae Sung-jae expressed deep admiration, saying, “It’s incredible that they could make such decisions under that level of pressure.”

Another segment features the Pyeongtaek Police Precinct, which ranks first in dispatch calls in Gyeonggi Province and third nationwide. The body cam footage captures a drunk individual harassing a shop owner, refusing to cooperate even after police intervention, and continuing to hurl abuse. Watching the chaos unfold, comedian Jang Dong-min jokes, “They should just tase him!” bringing laughter to the studio.
