BIGBANG Seungri’s Alleged Ex Yoo Hye-won Reveals Her Marriage Conditions

Model Yoo Hye-won has revealed her marriage conditions, stirring reactions among contestants.

The second episode of Mnet’s dating reality show Couple Palace 2, aired on February 12, showcased the personal and professional backgrounds of 60 single men and women seeking marriage. Among them, Yoo Hye-won’s statement became a hot topic.

Before her identity was revealed, Yoo wrote her marriage condition as: “Please understand that I need to send 3 million KRW (approx. $2,250) to my family every month.” Her statement prompted mixed reactions from male contestants, with some saying, “That’s too much to ask,” and others opting out, citing reasons such as being new to the workforce.

However, when Yoo Hye-won’s identity and background were unveiled, male contestants quickly changed their stance. Introduced as a beauty model with an annual income of approximately 150 million KRW (about $112,000) and assets worth 200 million KRW (around $150,000), she instantly drew attention.

Some contestants, who had initially withdrawn their interest based on her condition alone, changed their minds after seeing her profile, with remarks like, “Honestly, 3 million KRW wouldn’t be a problem.” As a result, Yoo Hye-won soared to the No. 1 ranking, receiving a total of nine picks.

Despite the overwhelming interest, she chose to remain selective in the first round, saying, “I’m the type to be cautious when choosing someone.” Ultimately, she picked contestant No. 3, a Japanese corporate employee, as her match.

Explaining her marriage condition further, Yoo shared that she started modeling at 23 and has been in the industry for about five to six years. She also revealed that she comes from a family of three, living with her mother and younger sister. “I don’t have a father, so I try my best to take on that role—I’m a classic K-firstborn daughter,” she said.

During the show, some contestants recognized her, whispering, “She’s XX’s ex-girlfriend,” alluding to her past dating rumors. Yoo responded, “I don’t even know if I should be here. These rumors follow me like a shadow. I just want to meet a good person and build something meaningful.”

Yoo Hye-won has previously been linked to former BIGBANG member Seungri on three separate occasions, though she has never officially addressed the rumors.
