"Proposal Photos?" 2PM's Ok Taec-yeon’s Agency Responds to Marriage Rumors (Official)

Ok Taec-yeon, a member of the K-pop group 2PM and an actor, has officially responded to recent rumors about his impending marriage.

Back in June 2020, Taec-yeon publicly confirmed his relationship with a non-celebrity girlfriend, who is four years younger than him.

On February 5, several photos began circulating on social media, showing Taec-yeon handing a ring to his girlfriend in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Fans quickly speculated that the couple was on the verge of tying the knot. Although the original photos were deleted from the account where they were initially posted, they had already spread rapidly across online communities.

In response to the speculation, a representative from Taec-yeon’s agency, 51K, clarified the situation through an interview with various media outlets on February 5. The spokesperson stated, “Taec-yeon is not currently planning a wedding, and the photos were not taken as part of a proposal. The pictures were actually from his girlfriend’s birthday celebration last year and were coincidentally leaked and spread online.”

The agency also reassured fans that Taec-yeon and his girlfriend are still happily dating and confidently maintaining their relationship.
