To celebrate the achievement, Rosé shared her gratitude with fans via social media. She wrote, “1 billion views. Thank you, Number One [the fandom’s name],” as fans flooded her posts with congratulatory messages and support.

APT. draws inspiration from a traditional Korean drinking game known as the “Apartment Game,” featuring a playful concept and addictive sound. The track merges the Korean word “apateu” (apartment) with a quirky, retro vibe, creating a fresh appeal that has captivated global audiences.

Fans worldwide have expressed their excitement in the music video’s comments section:

“This is so creative and fun! It’s great to see a different side of Rosé.”

“Bruno Mars doing a song like this with Rosé? Pure gold.”

“From the intro inspired by Korean games to the catchy sound, everything about this is brilliant.”

“Their voices blend so well—it’s insane!”

“This quirky, meme-like concept is refreshing, and the song is a hit!”

The APT. music video has also gone viral on social media, spawning various challenges and memes that have amplified its popularity. This trend has even reignited interest in Yoon Soo-il’s classic song Apartment, known as the “original APT.”

In addition to its YouTube success, APT. has broken records on major charts. It reached No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on the UK Official Singles Chart, setting new milestones for a K-pop female soloist. Rosé’s creative risk with APT. is proving to be a major triumph, further solidifying her status as a global pop powerhouse.
