Former Apink Member Shares Heartfelt Moments During Solo Fan Meeting
Son Na-eun, former member of the beloved K-pop group Apink and now a successful actress, shared an emotional message with her fans during her solo fan meeting, BETTER SONDAY, held on February 2 at Sowol Art Hall in Seoul’s Seongdong District.
The fan meeting, designed to reflect Son Na-eun’s wish for better, happier days with her fans, featured a variety of interactive programs, many of which she helped plan from the beginning.
Son Na-eun kicked off the event with a dynamic cover of Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso, expressing her excitement to be back on stage. “It’s been so long, I can’t tell if this is a dream or reality,” she said, adding, “I’ve prepared so much for today, so get ready to enjoy it.”
Throughout the event, Son Na-eun brought fans closer by sharing personal stories and behind-the-scenes memories from her dramas, including Lost, Ghost Doctor, Agency, and Romance In The House. She also revealed her ambition to take on an action role in the future, sparking excitement among attendees.
One of the fan meeting’s highlights was a medley of K-pop dance covers. Building anticipation with a surprise rehearsal video two days prior, Son Na-eun delivered flawless performances of NewJeans’ Attention, aespa’s Whiplash, and Jennie’s Mantra, setting the room ablaze with energy.
In addition to the performances, she engaged fans through games, Q&A sessions, and interactive challenges. She shared behind-the-scenes vlogs from her photo shoots and dance rehearsals, packing 140 minutes with unforgettable moments.
To make the day even more special, Son Na-eun personally gifted fans handmade cookie sets and bid them farewell with high-touch greetings, showing her heartfelt appreciation.
Reflecting on the event, Son Na-eun couldn’t hold back tears as she thanked her fans. “Reading your messages while preparing for this gave me so much strength and courage. I’m deeply grateful,” she said, her voice filled with emotion.
She added, “Instead of just saying ‘thank you,’ I want us to have our own special way of expressing gratitude—so from now on, let’s say ‘nangmanhae,’ meaning ‘let’s cherish this romantic moment together.’”
Son Na-eun first debuted as a member of Apink in 2011, winning widespread love before leaving the group in 2022 to focus on her acting career. Today, she continues to thrive with a variety of roles and projects, earning admiration from fans and critics alike.
