Idol Singer Behind a National Hit Shares Her Journey

Choa, a former member of the iconic girl group Crayon Pop, is set to share her personal life and marriage journey.

According to TV CHOSUN, Choa, now in her fifth year of marriage, will appear with her husband on the ultra-realistic documentary variety show 'Joseon’s Love Match' on February 3.

Choa, known for leading Crayon Pop’s viral hits like Bar Bar Bar and Uh-ee, tied the knot with a businessman six years her senior in 2021. Now in her fifth year of marriage, she shares her hopes for a happy family and her desire to have children soon.

However, Choa revealed a deeply emotional chapter in her life. During her first year of marriage, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer after a routine prenatal checkup. Reflecting on the moment, she said, “Hearing that I might never have children made me feel like life had lost its meaning,” expressing her pain and vulnerability.

Choa’s story and her moments of love and resilience will be featured on Joseon’s Love Match, airing February 3 at 10 PM KST on TV CHOSUN.
