Netflix’s original series 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' has taken the No. 1 spot on Watcha’s HOT 10 for the 5th week of January (January 23 - January 29), surpassing the previously top-ranked SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Love Scout'. The latest rankings were released on January 31.

It currently ranks No. 3 globally on Netflix’s non-English TV series chart and is in the Top 10 across 26 countries, including Chile, Peru, Romania, and Singapore.
The series follows the story of a genius surgeon, Baek Kang-hyuk (played by Ju Ji-hoon), as he struggles to revive a nearly defunct trauma team and save lives.
2nd Place: 'Dark Nuns' — A Rising Box Office Success
The film 'Dark Nuns', starring Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-been, climbed five spots to secure 2nd place. The movie, a spin-off of 'The Priests', centers on characters who perform forbidden rituals to save a boy possessed by evil forces. It has surpassed 1 million theatergoers since its release on January 24.
3rd Place: 'The Tale of Lady Ok' — A Drama Worth Remembering
JTBC’s weekend drama ' The Tale of Lady Ok ' dropped one spot to 3rd after its final episode aired on January 26. The series, starring Lim Ji-yeon, tells the thrilling survival story of a con artist, Ok Tae-young (Lim Ji-yeon), and a musician, Chun Seung-hwi (Choo Young-woo), who protect each other amidst a web of lies and deception. The show concluded with a peak rating of 13.6%.
4th Place: 'Hitman 2' — Climbing Back Up
'Hitman 2', starring Kwon Sang-woo, saw a major leap of six spots, thanks to its box office success. Following the hit 2020 film 'Hitman', this action-comedy follows webtoon artist Joon (Kwon Sang-woo), who gets caught in real-life events resembling his comic plots.

Will There Be a Season 2 of 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call'?
Fans have been eagerly speculating about a second season. Ahead of the show’s release, Ju Ji-hoon shared his willingness to return, saying, “If viewers want it, I have no reason to decline.” Co-star Choo Young-woo echoed similar sentiments, expressing his desire to continue with the series.
Director Lee Do-yoon commented, “There’s been no official discussion yet, but the ending was structured to allow for future seasons, possibly Season 2 or even Season 3.” He also hinted that additional casting and storylines were considered during production. The original author, Lee Nak-joon, said on the Doctor Friends YouTube channel, “We designed 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' with potential sequels in mind.”
However, a Netflix representative clarified to MaxMovie, “Nothing has been decided yet.”
