This Newly Released Medical Drama Already Ranks 3rd in Netflix’s Global Non-English TV Shows
The Netflix drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, starring Ju Ji-hoon and Choo Young-woo, is taking the global stage by storm. According to Netflix’s official site Tudum, the drama secured the No. 3 spot in the non-English TV show category with 4.7 million views within just three days of its release.
The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call follows the story of Baek Kang-hyuk (played by Ju Ji-hoon), a genius trauma surgeon who transfers from the battlefield to a university hospital and works to revive its trauma team. The show captivates viewers with its gripping portrayal of medical emergencies and intense character dynamics.
The drama is also enjoying tremendous success domestically. As of the 29th, it claimed the top spot on South Korea’s “Top 10 Series” list and entered Netflix’s Top 10 rankings in 26 countries, including Chile, Peru, Romania, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and the UAE.
Korean viewers have showered the series with praise, leaving comments like:
