Global Dance Battle Begins: Street Woman Fighter Returns with Season 3

The dance survival program that ignited a nationwide dance craze in 2021, Street Woman Fighter (SWF), is making a grand return with its third season, World of Street Woman Fighter.

Mnet announced on January 23 that the new season will premiere in May, unveiling a teaser video that has already sparked excitement. This time, the competition takes on an international scale, with dance crews representing countries like the U.S., France, Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, and more, competing to determine the ultimate world-class dance crew.

Fans are already speculating about the lineup of Korean crews and the new global competitors, eagerly anticipating the intense battles and inspiring stories that have become hallmarks of the series.

Mnet stated, “As the title suggests, this season will be a global showdown with a scale and intensity far exceeding previous seasons. We are ready to meet viewers with the fiercest dance battles yet.”

The season will be helmed by Kwon Young-chan, who led Street Woman Fighter seasons 1 and 2, as well as Street Man Fighter, alongside Choi Jung-nam, who directed Stage Fighter.

Since its inception, Street Woman Fighter has not only introduced K-Culture icons like Gabee and Aiki but also launched several spin-offs, including Street Man Fighter, Street Dance Girls Fighter, and Street Woman Fighter 2. These programs have cemented Mnet's reputation as a pioneer in popularizing dance culture while discovering new stars.
