According to Netflix’s Top 10 website, Single’s Inferno 4 amassed 4.8 million views and 23.1 million viewing hours during its first week (January 13-19). This marks the highest debut week for the Single’s Inferno series. It also ranked 6th in Netflix’s Global Top 10 for non-English TV and dominated the Top 10 lists in 23 countries, including South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, and Brazil.

The show’s premise—a fiery dating reality series where contestants can only escape “Inferno Island” by pairing up—has captivated audiences. With its fast-paced drama and unfiltered emotions, Single’s Inferno 4 has become a hot topic online, dominating forums and trending on social media.

A New Peak in Buzz Rankings

The series topped Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex for the third week of January, ranking #1 among TV-OTT non-drama programs. It led in Netizen Voice (VON) and ranked second in video and social media mentions, reflecting its viral appeal.

Producers Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun, and Park Soo-ji pushed boundaries with their daring direction, encouraging contestants to fully immerse themselves in their emotions. “We wanted to create a unique environment where contestants could focus on love, adding new tension and unpredictability,” they explained.

Notable additions, like the introduction of the female “Megi,” Park Hae-lin, and the male “Megi Selection” in Episode 4, further heightened the show’s intrigue. Park Hae-lin’s striking debut in Episode 5 drew praise for bringing a fresh dynamic to the cast.

Local and Global Domination
