News of the breakup between AKMU’s Lee Chan-hyuk and former fromis 9 member Lee Sae-rom has surfaced, as reported exclusively by Xports News on January 21.

The outlet cited entertainment industry insiders who revealed that the two ended their relationship last year after dating for about a year. The pair first sparked dating rumors in October 2022. Reports at the time claimed that Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Sae-rom were spotted spending time together at a workshop, with some fans pointing to social media posts from the same location as further evidence.

At the time, Lee Chan-hyuk’s agency, YG Entertainment, responded by stating, “It is difficult to confirm anything regarding the artist’s personal life.” Meanwhile, Pledis Entertainment, then representing Lee Sae-rom, did not provide any comment.
