Song Hye-kyo Unveils Her 7,400 sq. ft. Home—Reveals 2 Unique Morning Routine!

Actress Song Hye-kyo’s home was unveiled for the first time, stunning viewers with its grand scale. On January 16, the YouTube channel "Kyangmingkyung(@iammingki)" released a video titled "Part 2! Not Me, Song Hye-kyo’s Vlog", featuring Song Hye-kyo and singer Kang Min-kyung.

The video’s thumbnail, showing the two together with the caption "A Night at Hye-kyo Unni’s House," immediately caught viewers' attention.

In the video, Song Hye-kyo and Kang Min-kyung enjoyed a dinner of grilled beef intestines before heading to Song Hye-kyo’s residence in Seoul’s upscale Samseong-dong neighborhood. The house, with its warm lighting and sleek interior, was both elegant and welcoming. Song Hye-kyo’s five-year-old dog, Ruby, greeted them warmly, and the actress was visibly delighted as she held her pet in her arms.

The two spent the evening chatting over drinks in the dining room. The home reflected Song Hye-kyo’s sophisticated taste, with every detail—down to the meticulously designed bathroom—earning admiration. Her bedroom, briefly shown in the video, featured white bedding paired with a wooden bedside table, creating a cozy yet refined atmosphere.

The next morning, Kang Min-kyung was seen descending the staircase and meeting Ruby again. Ruby’s living space was just as impressive, with a well-maintained hardwood floor, a spacious yard, and a neat carpet. Even the dog’s bowls, crafted from white ceramic, hinted at understated luxury.

As they discussed breakfast to cure their hangovers, Kang Min-kyung asked Song Hye-kyo about her unique morning routine as an actress. Song Hye-kyo laughed and replied, “I don’t have one. For me, it’s always about rice.” Kang Min-kyung joked back, “Hye-kyo unni’s morning routine: rice and coffee.”

Song Hye-kyo shared that she relies on home-cooked meals when focusing on her health but admitted to occasionally scrolling through delivery apps to decide on food. In the video, she humorously skipped ordering boiled pork slices with her naengmyeon(Cold-noodles), adding a playful touch.

The home itself, a detached house in Samseong-dong, is a stunning property spanning a basement and two above-ground floors. With a total floor area of 690㎡ (approximately 7,400 sq. ft.) and a land area of 581.6㎡ (about 6,260 sq. ft.), the house offers both space and privacy.

Song Hye-kyo purchased the property in 2015 for 9.15 billion KRW (approximately $6.28 million USD) from Kang Jung-seok, chairman of Dong-A Socio Holdings. After demolition and extensive reconstruction, the home was completed, with additional measures such as raising the fence and expanding the living space by over 200㎡ ( approximately 2,152.78 sq. ft.) to ensure privacy.
