A separate informant told the media they had frequently spotted the couple shopping together at a supermarket in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province. The witness shared, “Kim Min-hee would ask Hong Sang-soo, ‘Honey, what do you think of this?’ She seemed comfortable mixing informal and polite language when speaking to him. They looked just like any other couple who shops at the market regularly.”

However, the informant added that the couple appeared conscious of onlookers, maintaining a slight distance while walking. Unlike typical couples, they refrained from holding hands or linking arms in public.

The witness reported that she was dressed in a loose, oversized coat, unlike her usual style. “Even though she’s six months pregnant, her baby bump wasn’t very noticeable, so I didn’t think she was expecting at first,” the source added.
