PLAVE, the popular virtual idol group, has announced the start of pre-orders for their third mini-album, Caligo Pt.1.

Since pre-orders began on January 13 via various online music platforms, the album has received a remarkable response, with fans rushing to secure their copies. The third mini-album, Caligo Pt.1, will be released in three versions: Fugitive, Vanguard, and Poca. Each version includes a variety of collectible items such as member-specific photocards, photobooks, photo stands, sticker sets, accordion posters, Polaroids, carabiners, and logo stickers.

The unique packaging design, emphasizing a dreamy and mysterious vibe, has sparked immense excitement among fans. PLAVE has been riding high on their previous achievements. Their second mini-album, ASTERUM:134-1, released last February, sold over 560,000 copies in its first week, ranking 17th in first-week sales for boy groups. The group also earned their first music show win on a major broadcast channel.

In August, PLAVE’s digital single 'Pump Up The Volume!' topped Melon’s HOT100 and TOP100 charts on the day of release, while also clinching another music show victory. With such impressive milestones, expectations are high for Caligo Pt.1 to mark another career high for the group. The concept photos for version A, unveiled on January 9, feature a striking palette of black and red, exuding charisma and a sultry charm. Departing from their previous cheerful and vibrant image, PLAVE has embraced a mature and bold aesthetic for this comeback.

Particularly, member Eunho drew attention with his dramatic new hairstyle, fully exposing his forehead in a sleek, polished look that highlights a cold, masculine allure. Fans reacted passionately, commenting, “They’re aiming for the top now,” “No wonder Yejun, Noah, and Bambi look so intense,” and “This level of masculinity is overwhelming.”

PLAVE plans to release additional teasers, including Concept Moving Poster B and Concept Photo B, starting January 20. Their third mini-album, Caligo Pt.1, will officially drop on February 3 at 6 PM KST across all major music platforms.
