T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun), former member of BIGBANG and now an actor, is set to break his 11-year silence with a long-awaited interview.
On January 15, T.O.P will meet with the press at a location in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, for interviews related to Netflix’s Squid Game Season 2. This marks his first interview since the release of his last major project, the 2014 film Tazza: The Hidden Card.

Notably, this interview also represents his first public discussion since being convicted in 2016 for marijuana use, which led to a 10-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.
Squid Game 2, released on December 26, continues the gripping tale of “Gi-hun” (Lee Jung-jae) seeking revenge as he reenters the deadly game, facing off against the “Frontman” (Lee Byung-hun). T.O.P portrays "Thanos," a former runner-up in a hip-hop survival competition who fell from grace after a failed cryptocurrency investment recommended by Lee Myung-gi (Im Si-wan).
Though T.O.P has been absent from promotional events like press conferences and showcases, sparking speculation about his avoidance of the spotlight due to past controversies, today’s interview may shed light on his perspective.
As this is his first interview since leaving BIGBANG and addressing the controversies surrounding his career, all eyes are on T.O.P to see what he has to say.
