"How Many Celebrities Have You Dated?" Why Lee Min-ho Left the Set—and Sparked Laughter

Actor Lee Min-ho was caught off guard by unexpected questions about his dating history during his first appearance on a YouTube variety show.

On December 24, Lee Min-ho and Gong Hyo-jin, stars of the tvN drama 'When the Stars Gossip', appeared as guests on the Youtube Channel 'Teo', web variety show 'Salon Drip 2'. Lee Min-ho revealed that this was his first time on a YouTube variety program, saying, “I feel it’s a time when we can talk more openly, so I decided to appear.” He added with confidence, “Even during the planning meeting with the writer, I mentioned that I like uncomfortable questions.”

Gong Hyo-jin chimed in, agreeing, “Ask truly uncomfortable questions—that will make it fun.” Comedian Jang Do-yeon seized the opportunity to ask cheeky questions, saying, “Are you currently dating? How many celebrities have you dated? More than five or less?” The unexpected question left Lee Min-ho momentarily stunned, and with a blank expression, he walked off the set, leaving everyone laughing. Jang Do-yeon joked, “Where are you going?” as she tried to stop him.

When Lee Min-ho returned to his seat, he laughed awkwardly and said, “I think I might have misspoken,” bringing more laughter to the set. Jang Do-yeon joked, “If you want, I can make it truly uncomfortable—like walking through a thorny path. Do you want to experience hellfire?” Her humorous comment helped ease the tension.
