K-pop sensation IVE is starting the new year with a special treat for fans by revealing their personally curated playlist.
On January 6, the music platform Melon unveiled IVE's song recommendations for the new year in a feature titled "Winter: What Artists Listen To", along with a special playlist under the theme of New Year encouragement.
In addition to their own tracks, IVE showcased their diverse musical taste by including international hits such as Taylor Swift's "Blank Space (Taylor's Version)" and "Lover," SZA's "Nobody Gets Me," Billie Eilish's "Birds of a Feather," and Chappell Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!" They also spotlighted K-pop classics like Red Velvet's "Happiness," Girls' Generation's "The Boys," Taeyeon's "Letter To Myself," and DAY6's "Happy."
As for their group picks, IVE selected two of their signature songs, "I AM" and " HEYA" to represent their collective spirit.
In an accompanying interview, the members explained the significance behind their choices. Regarding "I AM," they shared, "We wanted to inspire belief in the paths we are forging and encourage everyone to build their own world." About " HEYA ," they added, "As we look to the rising sun, we want 2025 to be a year we truly conquer."
