Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun Suffers Leg Injury While Filming Drama with 2PM Ok Taecyeon (Agency Comments)

Seohyun, a member of Girls’ Generation and actress, recently sustained a leg injury while filming her upcoming drama.

In January 2 (KST), her agency Namoo Actors confirmed to News1, “Seohyun was injured during a shoot. She is currently receiving treatment and recovering. She plans to rejoin the set soon.”

Despite her injury, Seohyun demonstrated her professionalism by attending and co-hosting the 2024 KBS Drama Awards on December 31. Using a cane to support herself, she participated in the pre-recorded event, which replaced the originally planned live broadcast due to the tragic Jeju air South Korea plane crash. Fans noticed her condition when images and videos of her with the cane surfaced on online communities.

Seohyun is currently starring in the KBS 2TV drama 'The First Night With the Duke (working Drama title)', playing the lead role of Cha Seon-cheok. Her co-star is 2PM member and actor Ok Taecyeon. The series is a romance fantasy adapted from a popular web novel that also gained attention as a webtoon.
