BLACKPINK’s Rosé has claimed the top spot in the December 2024 Idol Individual Brand Reputation rankings.
On December 28, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute announced, “Based on the big data analysis of idol individual brand reputation for December 2024, BLACKPINK’s Rosé ranked first, followed by BIGBANG’s G-Dragon in second, and aespa’s Karina in third.”
The top 30 rankings for December 2024 Idol Individual Brand Reputation are as follows: BLACKPINK’s Rosé, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, aespa’s Karina, IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, BTS’s Jin, ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo, BTS’s Jungkook, BTS’s Jimin, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, IVE’s An Yujin, TWICE’s Nayeon, Red Velvet’s Irene, aespa’s Winter, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi, Red Velvet’s Joy, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, THE BOYZ’s Juyeon, BTS’s RM, Wanna One’s Kang Daniel, SEVENTEEN’s Jun, aespa’s Giselle, SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan, BTS’s V, EXO’s Baekhyun, aespa’s Ningning, BIGBANG’s Taeyang, and IVE’s Liz.
Rosé, who made a comeback on December 6, released her first full-length album, Rosie. The album includes 12 tracks, featuring the pre-released singles APT. and Number One Girl, which were unveiled in October and November, respectively. Rosé participated in writing and composing all the tracks, sharing her honest and intimate stories.
Gu Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, commented, “In the December 2024 Idol Individual Brand Reputation rankings, BLACKPINK’s Rosé took first place. In the link analysis, keywords such as ‘participate,’ ‘confess,’ and ‘record’ stood out, while in the keyword analysis, ‘APT.,’ ‘Rosie,’ and ‘birthday’ were prominent. The positive-to-negative sentiment ratio analysis showed a 93.28% positive rate for her brand.”
The institute analyzed the brand reputation of 1,730 individual idols by extracting 194,169,629 pieces of big data from November 28 to December 28. The brand reputation index was calculated using consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community engagement indices. Compared to last month’s dataset of 185,634,868 pieces, this month saw a 4.60% increase in data volume.
