ZE:A Kwang-hee Thanks BIGBANG G-Dragon for His Thoughtful Gift, Sharing a Touching Moment (Photo)

Kwanghee expressed his gratitude to his same-aged friend G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong), showcasing their close bond.

In December 19 (KST), Kwanghee shared a photo on Instagram wearing a unique daisy-patterned fashion hat that looks like it was gifted by G-Dragon, along with the message, "Thank you GD so much 🎱🎱." Both born in 1988, the two share a long-standing friendship, with this stylish hat being another symbol of their connection.

The two first became close in 2015 during the 'Infinite Challenge' Yeongdong Expressway Song Festival, where they teamed up with Taeyang to form the group 'HwangTaeJi.' Their friendship has remained strong over the years, with G-Dragon frequently gifting Kwanghee fashion accessories.

In a past episode of 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears,' aired in July 2023, Kwanghee admitted that he was deeply influenced by G-Dragon’s style. "Whenever G-Dragon wore something, Jo Se-ho would buy it immediately, and then I’d get it next," he said.

Kwanghee also recalled, "One time, G-Dragon returned from Paris Fashion Week and gave me a hat. At the time, wide-brimmed fedoras were trending, but the hat he gave me was just a soft fabric cap. Honestly, I felt a bit disappointed."

However, there was a twist to the story. A year later, Kwanghee realized that the hat G-Dragon had given him was suddenly trending. "It turns out G-Dragon was ahead of the trends with that gift. G-Dragon, I didn’t realize it back then—your fashion sense is truly incredible."

Later, in October 2024, Kwanghee sent a voice message to G-Dragon during an episode of 'You Quiz on the Block,' saying, "Hi GD, it’s Kwanghee. I’m happy that you are working again." When Kwanghee asked G-Dragon, "What is it that you want to achieve?" G-Dragon replied warmly, "I just want you to succeed," touching viewers with his heartfelt response and their genuine friendship.
