As MBC’s recent dramas have been gaining positive feedback from viewers, another exciting announcement has caught attention: Im Soon-rye, the acclaimed director known for films like 'Negotiation', 'Little Forest', and 'Forever the Moment', is set to direct her first drama for MBC next year.

MBC has reclaimed its title as the "Kingdom of Dramas" with successes in various genres, combining both commercial appeal and artistic quality. Following last year's hit drama 'Lovers', MBC’s Friday-Saturday dramas dominated the early months of this year, with 'Knight Flower', 'Wonderful World', and 'Chief Detective 1958' topping the time slot. In the latter half of the year, dramas such as 'Black Out (Snow White Must Die)', 'Doubt', and 'When the Phone Rings' further captivated viewers. Notably, the comedy-action historical drama

'Knight Flower', starring Lee Ha-nee, reached a peak rating of 18.4%, marking MBC's highest rating for a Friday-Saturday drama this year. Despite being Lee Ha-nee’s first project in three years after giving birth, her intense action scenes and sharp comedic performance were widely praised.
