On the 19th, the Seoul Mapo Police Station announced that they had begun a preliminary investigation following a complaint filed through the public petition system, alleging Song Min-ho's habitual absence from work. This news was first reported by Sports Kyunghyang.

The police plan to review CCTV footage from the institution where Song Min-ho is serving. Currently assigned to the Mapo Community Welfare Center, Song Min-ho has been accused of not reporting to work properly in recent times.

Particularly notable is the claim that his supervisor, identified as "A," showed favoritism towards him, raising concerns about an inappropriate relationship between the two. The facility explained that Song Min-ho was on "sick leave," "annual leave," or "hospitalized" during the mentioned periods.

Song Min-ho reportedly received a Grade 4 supplementary service classification in his military physical examination due to panic disorder and bipolar disorder. As a result, he began alternative service in March last year and is scheduled to complete his duty on the 23rd of this month.

The Military Manpower Administration is also said to be investigating the matter to verify the facts.

YG Entertainment, Song Min-ho's agency, commented, "We are unable to confirm specific details regarding the artist’s service. However, we can clarify that his sick leave was a continuation of prior treatment, and all other leave was used in compliance with regulations."

Meanwhile, Kang Seung-yoon, leader of the same group, completed his military service today.

On the 19th, Kang Seung-yoon shared photos on his social media, celebrating his discharge and informing fans of the milestone.

Kang Seung-yoon enlisted in the Army in June last year and was recognized for his diligent service, earning awards such as an Outstanding Trainee commendation, a book review accolade, and a prize in a writing competition.

Notably, Kang Seung-yoon is the only member of WINNER to serve as an active-duty soldier. The other members, Kim Jin-woo and Lee Seung-hoon, completed their alternative service as social service workers.
