According to the TV buzz analysis conducted by Good Data Corporation on the 16th, Queen of Tears, a drama about the crisis and love of a three-year married couple, ranked first in TV drama buzzworthiness for this year. Episodes 15 and 16 of the drama earned a total of 96,154 points, making it the most buzzed-about drama of the year. Particularly, a scene where Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun) dedicates himself entirely for Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) became one of the most talked-about moments in TV dramas this year.

Following Queen of Tears, Seonjae on My Back (tvN), a drama featuring the story of fan Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon) and idol singer Ryu Seon-jae (Byeon Woo-seok), came in second with 95,789 points from episodes 9 and 10. Jeongnyeoni (tvN) ranked third. In particular, a scene from episodes 7 and 8 of Jeongnyeoni (October, 5th week), where female Gugak performer Yun Jeong-nyeon (Kim Tae-ri) collapses after overexerting herself during practice, garnered 42,457 points. This scene, which portrayed Jeong-nyeon’s desperate pursuit of success, moved viewers to tears.

Next, Mom's Friend's Son (tvN) episodes 9 and 10, where Bae Seok-ryu (Jeong So-min) confesses to her friend Choi Seung-hyo (Jung Hae-in) about her past battle with cancer, and the two develop romantic feelings, ranked 4th with 33,645 points. Good Partner (SBS), starring Jang Na-ra, Nam Ji-hyun, Kim Jun-han, P.O, Ji Seung-hyun, and Han Jae-i, earned 30,165 points to claim 5th place.

This survey was conducted on TV dramas aired from January 1 to January 8. The buzzworthiness score was calculated by evaluating the value of online posts from news, blogs, YouTube, Twitter, and other social media platforms, considering reactions such as comments, views, and retweets. It does not simply count the number of posts but also takes into account the length, frequency, and depth of the information, weighing how the drama was covered. However, this survey did not include OTT content or variety shows.
