‘Fraktsiya’ is a hip-hop track with heavy 808 bass and intense, repetitive synthesizer sounds, built upon house-style chord progressions. It incorporates elements of UK drill, a sub-genre of hip-hop, and captivates listeners with Mark’s distinctive charm and sharp rapping that he has not shown before.

The black-and-white teaser images that were released show Mark and Lee Young-ji dressed to impress, wearing sunglasses, exuding strong confidence. Before the official release, Mark posted a photo with Lee Young-ji on his Instagram, captioning it, “12/16🔎 they call us 프락치(Fraktsi),” heightening anticipation and excitement.

The title ‘Fraktsiya’ cleverly reflects the dynamic between Mark and Lee Young-ji, transcending both K-pop and hip-hop genres. According to News1, Mark explained, “I started working on this song with the thought of reflecting on my place in K-pop and living in various ways,” adding, “I felt that Young-ji has a similar character to mine, so I asked her to feature, and she gladly agreed.” He continued, “I believed that there would be unique chemistry between Young-ji and me, and with ‘Fraktsiya,’ I confirmed that it was right. I’m thankful to Young-ji once again.”
