Actors and singers are set to light up the stage at the '2024 SBS Drama Awards.' On December 12, SBS unveiled the lineup for the celebratory performances, scheduled for December 21.
First, to celebrate the '2024 SBS Drama Awards,' Kim Hyeong-seo (BIBI), who showcased her diverse charm as a new member of 'The Fiery Priest 2,' will team up with Gudamzious members Go Gyu-pil and Ahn Chang-hwan for a sensational collaboration stage. Notably, they are set to perform a live version of the hit song "Bam Yanggaeng," which topped domestic and international music charts and created a cultural phenomenon this year, heightening anticipation.
Additionally, the hottest dance team of 2024, LACHICA, will kick off the Drama Awards with a grand opening show. Known for choreographing hits like aespa's "Whiplash" and "Supernova" as well as IVE's "I AM," LACHICA is a trendsetting dance group. They are preparing a specially choreographed Christmas carol performance exclusive to the Drama Awards, aiming to elevate the festive atmosphere. LACHICA’s members are also expected to make surprise appearances throughout the stage, presenting a K-pop choreography remix that promises to excite viewers.
The awards will also feature a celebratory performance by the year’s breakout girl group, (G)I-DLE. Recently crowned "Record of the Year" winners at the 2024 Melon Music Awards (MMA), (G)I-DLE is a dominant force in the music industry, producing mega-hits with every release. Their medley will include chart-topping tracks like "Super Lady" and "I Hate Being Sick (Fate)," ensuring a captivating performance.
Furthermore, a special stage featuring the cast of SBS dramas airing in 2025 is in the works. The lineup remains a mystery, fueling curiosity about which dramas and cast members will join the celebration and offer sneak peeks of next year’s programming.
Meanwhile, the '2024 SBS Drama Awards,' hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Kim Hye-yoon, and Kim Ji-yeon, will air live on December 21 at 8:35 PM.
