Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo's younger brother has caught the public's eye after appearing briefly on a TV variety show. On December 6, the tvN program 'Rented in Finland' showcased Cha Eun-woo practicing cooking before heading to Finland.

In the episode, Cha Eun-woo prepared several K-food dishes under his mother’s guidance. The highlight of the episode came when his younger brother, whose looks resemble Cha Eun-woo’s, made an appearance. After tasting the food his brother cooked, he praised his culinary skills. In response, Cha Eun-woo said, “At least Dong-hwi approves,” expressing his delight. Dong-hwi is Cha Eun-woo’s brother's name.
When Cha Eun-woo asked his brother to send a voice message to actor Lee Dong-hwi, who shares the same name, the younger sibling said, "I always cheer for you." Despite his brief appearance, Cha Eun-woo’s brother garnered attention for his striking visuals, which had long been a topic of curiosity after ASTRO members teased that he might be even more handsome than Cha Eun-woo himself.

The tvN program follows urban actors as they adapt to rural life in a remote Finnish village without electricity, running water, or Wi-Fi. Cast members include Lee Je-hoon, Lee Dong-hwi, Kwak Dong-yeon, and Cha Eun-woo.
The show’s premiere on December 6 achieved a 3.4% average household rating in Seoul, peaking at 5%, according to Nielsen Korea's paid platform data. Nationwide, it recorded a 3.3% average and a peak of 4.7%, securing the top spot among cable and comprehensive programming channels in its time slot.
Additionally, tvN's target demographic of viewers aged 20-49 recorded a maximum rating of 2.2% in Seoul and 2.4% nationwide, also ranking first in its time slot on cable and comprehensive channels.
The premiere featured the awkward first meeting of the cast members in Seoul before their journey to Finland. Upon learning about their destination in Finnish Lapland and their shared accommodation, they expressed excitement, saying, "We’ve been eager to experience unfamiliar nature."

After a 20-hour flight, the cast landed in Rovaniemi, the gateway city to Lapland, where they tried reindeer burgers to acclimate to the local culture. Upon arriving at their shared accommodation, they were surprised to find it nestled between a lake and a forest, with no running water, electricity, or phone signal. The natural setting, complete with an eco-friendly toilet and warnings about wild bears, left the group both awestruck and unsettled.
As they start to integrate into the daily lives of Lapland’s locals and adapt to the unique environment, viewers are eager to see how the cast navigates this rustic lifestyle.
