The show addresses the realistic concerns surrounding marriage and singlehood, presenting them through a delightful storyline and warm emotions, which resonate deeply with viewers.

Marry YOU is a romantic comedy drama about a single civil servant, Jeong Hana (played by Jo Su-min), who, under the government's policy to encourage marriage, is assigned to the "Marriage Promotion Team" and struggles to get Bong Cheol-hee (played by Lee Yi-kyung) married to escape her assignment. Hana, who feels there are more reasons not to marry than to marry, questions the necessity of marriage, even saying, "Rather than why I shouldn't get married, I wonder why I should get married."
