On December 2, Jessi shared a lengthy message in English on her Instagram story, beginning with, "It's hard to believe, but it's already been 19 years." She shared, "Life is a journey, and it’s natural to have ups and downs. We’ve experienced this rollercoaster journey together, and I’m truly grateful for your presence by my side." Reflecting on her career, she added, "I started this journey as a young girl who came to Korea alone, and now I’ve grown into a woman leading this industry."

Jessi further expressed, "The challenges I faced have strengthened my mind and spirit, and I’ve realized that no one can fully understand my struggles and hardships as deeply as I do." She concluded by saying, "Your faith in me has been my greatest strength, and I hope it inspires you to chase your dreams and never give up."

Previously, Jessi was embroiled in a controversy over allegedly condoning fan assault. The incident occurred in the early hours of September 29 in Apgujeong, Gangnam, Seoul, when a fan approached Jessi to request a photo. After Jessi declined and the fan began to leave, one of Jessi’s acquaintances physically assaulted the fan.

Although Jessi reportedly tried to intervene and stop the assault, she soon left the scene and later attended another social gathering, which sparked criticism. Jessi was subsequently accused and summoned as a suspect by Gangnam Police on November 16. During her questioning, she stated that the assailants were "people she met for the first time that day."

The police decided not to forward charges against Jessi, concluding that it was difficult to substantiate allegations of harboring or aiding a fugitive. Meanwhile, an arrest warrant was issued for the foreign rapper Koala (36, real name Heo Jae-won), who assaulted the fan and fled abroad, and a request was made to Interpol for his capture. Additionally, producer B, accused of participating in the assault, has been referred to the prosecution for further investigation.
